Thomas B. Earhart

Litigation

Thomas B. Earhart advises business and individuals on transfers of assets and wealth among and between family members and business associates. He has acted as litigation and trial counsel in civil, criminal and municipal matters throughout the Commonwealth. Since obtaining his law degree in 1992, he has represented clients in matters before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Superior Court and Commonwealth Court, participated in numerous seminars for elderly individuals on estate and trust planning and served on the local board of trustees for a national social fraternity.

Currently, Mr. Earhart serves by appointment on the Deeds and Land Records Subcommittee of the Joint State Government Commission for the revision of the real property laws in Pennsylvania. He advises various entities including real estate developers, real estate leasing and management companies, churches, nonprofit organizations, restaurants, funeral homes and vehicle dealerships on legal and operational activities as well as governmental compliance. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania courts, the United States Supreme Court and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Earhart received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts Degree, magna cum laude, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Criminology. He was twice honored as an IUP scholar athlete and served as Captain of its Division II baseball team.

He currently resides in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, with his wife and two sons.
